Terms of Service

Eligibility

MemeChess is intended for users aged 13 and older. By using the service you confirm you meet this requirement or have parental consent where required by law.

Using MemeChess

MemeChess is a casual online chess game with meme reactions. Play fairly, do not harass other players, and do not attempt to disrupt the service.

Content

User-uploaded memes and chat may be moderated. Do not upload illegal, hateful, or infringing content. MemeChess does not claim ownership of third-party meme clips shown through integrated providers.

Coins

Coins are an in-game virtual item earned by playing, completing quests and taking part in the Earn program. Coins can only be spent inside MemeChess (for example on Meme Pass days). Coins have no cash value, cannot be sold, transferred, exchanged for money or refunded, and are not a payment or a wage. We may change coin prices, rates and caps, and may remove coins obtained through bugs, fraud or rule violations. Coins expire if your account is deleted.

Earn program rules

You can earn coins for public clips of your own MemeChess games posted on YouTube Shorts or TikTok. To qualify, a clip must: be made with MemeChess (for example exported from Clip Studio), be posted from an account you control, include #memechess and your personal code in the title or caption, be public, be at most 3 minutes long, and be submitted within 30 days of posting. Each video can be submitted once, by one player.

Coins are credited per 1,000 views verified by us, up to the per-clip and monthly limits shown on the Earn page, and stay pending for a few days before they can be spent. Views bought, botted, incentivised or otherwise not genuine do not count. We may review, hold, reject or reverse coins for any clip that breaks these rules or the platform's own rules, and may close an account that repeatedly abuses the program. Clips must not include hateful, sexual, violent or infringing content, or impersonate MemeChess or other people. You keep ownership of your clips; by submitting one you allow us to display its link and public statistics in MemeChess.
